LinkedIn Redesigns App for the Busy and International

LinkedIn  (NYSE: LNKD  ) has updated its mobile app in an effort to cater to a busier and more international crowd. Noticing that 64% of its members come from outside the United States, the company has focused its mobile app on more general professional and everyday use. 

LinkedIn had designed its app with a focus on personalization and the news stream. Now mobile users will notice more updates around the "Influencers" -- celebrity CEOs and thought leaders -- they follow. They'll also find that that their news stream will feature more relevant and timely posts. LinkedIn users can further personalize their mobile experience by accessing a customizable navigation page.

So far, the LinkedIn app is available in 15 languages on both iOS and Android. Recently, the company expanded its language offerings to Dutch and Norwegian for the iPhone. For Android, the company now offers Turkish, Dutch, and Norwegian.
